petrol needle

my petrol needle iz not very accurate, it fluxuates a lot. is that normal on these carz? :?

how can i get it fixed? and my fuel light comez on when i hit 1/4 tank then goes back off, whats with that? :shock:

Ive noticed with mine on a 1/4 tank its ok, but if i take corners and accelerate hard it goes to the E and the light comes on. If you turn left it goes up, turn right or accelerate it drops.
