other suspensions for GTIR?

i was wondering if the gtir shares its suspension with any other nissan models. as finding shocks, springs and even coilovers could be made easier if this was the case. i realize the R is quite a one-of-a-kind car as far as parts go but i havent heard anything on the subject of the interchangeability of its suspension.

Hi mate, the only other aftermarket suspension that I have found, aprt from the usual, is from system 2. I don't know if anyone has tried this kit though. Hope this helps.

thanks. i havent seen that setup before. im still wondering however if the gtir shares its suspension setup with any other nissans such as sentra B13 models or maybe the infinity g20?

front shocks are the same as the almera gti thats what I've got on mine at the minute

the b13 sentra (91-94) in the US shares very similar spring and struts

the gtir's spring/strut assembly is about an inch shorter over all

do you know how similar it is? is it similar enough to be directly swapped over or does it take some moddification?
