There were a few at Trax. Very nice cars.
Legend has it they were very popular with thieves in the early 90's as they were one of the few cars fast enough to outrun the police helicopters!

Erm, with a 0-100 mph of 11.5 seconds I would say they were fecking rapid, and dont forget this was a car with no electronic aids like traction control to help it put that power down.

they are well rapid - saw one down birmingham track the once .......snake off the line with a good launch and once they get going, proper rapid machines - plus due to it being turbo - im sure you can make a few tweaks to make it even quicker
they are supposed to do 0-60 in 5.2's but to be fair, they are not really built for 0-60s or 1/4s miles :shock: :roll: ...........

Lotus Carlton 377bhp 419lb/ft 3.6 litre twin turbo....0 to 100 11.5 secs.
MILDLY tuned Pulsar running 1 bar @ 275bhp 260lb/ft 2.0 litre 0 to 100 10 secs.
Don't forget the Pulsar is an old car as well.

Thats really not the point. The Carlton could be just as easily tuned

Don't forget while the Lotus Carlton maybe a standard production car, it is actually a highly modified Carlton Gsi
