What is the adjusting screw on the ecu for?

Also what could cause my car to be running very rich all of the time.

its a power setup on level 1 which is standard its 226bhp turn it up to 10 and u will have 370bhp but dont forget to lean the fuel off to allow for the extra hp lol think its summin to do with emissions or summin pointless like that.i hope atleast one person reads that and starts to cream in there pants lol :lol:

think its just for adjusting the emissions level at idle, your lambda sensor or wiring to the sensor could be faulty or you could have a dodgy maf that is causing your overfuelling try doing a ecu fault code test

All data below is taken from the 200sx ECU.
They both run the SR20DET, so I have found it very useful, considering I haven't got a manual yet!.
Code Key: First two digits are the number of long flashes, last two digits are the number of short flashes. These codes apply to '95-'98 200SX SE-Rs.

Code Circuit or System Probable Cause
505 No self diagnostic codes present
101 Camshaft position sensor Check the camshaft sensor or the circuit.
102 Mass airflow sensor/circuit Mass airflow sensor source or ground circuit(s) may be shorted or open. Check the mass airflow sensor or circuit.
103 Coolant temperature sensor The coolant sensor or circuit may be shorted or open. Check the coolant temperature sensor & circuit.
104 Vehicle speed sensor Vehicle speed sensor signal circuit is open.
111 EVAP purge flow monitoring system Have the vehicle diagnosed by a dealer service department.
114 Fuel system rich Check the injector, fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator, oxygen sensor &/or the MAF sensor.
115 Fuel system lean Check the injector, fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator, oxygen sensor &/or the MAF sensor.
201 Ignition signal Ignition signal in the primary circuit is not entered during engine cranking or running (see a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop).
203 Closed throttle switch Check throttle position sensor.
205 IACV/AAC valve Check the IACV/AAC valve & circuit.
208 Overheating Cooling fan or system is not operating correctly.
213 EVAP system Check for small leak in system.
214 Purge volume control valve Have the vehicle diagnosed be a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop.
301 ECM control unit The ECM input signal is beyond “normal” range (see a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop).
302 EGR function EGR control valve does not operate.
303 Front heated oxygen sensor malfunction Check the component & its circuit.
