Oil seperator & catch cans

I got a catch can off ebay a while ago and now I've ordered a Forge oil separator (so I can use the 'how to' instructions )

Is this a silly question? Can they both be fitted?

The separator to replace the standard one and the catch can on the other pipe that goes from the engine to the intake.

Please forgive my stupidity if I'm being stupid!

You should only need the forge, the outlet on the cam cover goes to it aswell.
