Oil from BOV

Hello

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have GTiR. Currently I have a rebuilt engine in the car. The engine pulls and there is plenty of power but, There is a lot of oil coming from my BOV, I mean it runs down the headlight and covers under the bonnet. The boost is set at 0.9 Bar.
Obviously oil is passing somewhere and i am getting oil into my exhaust so as im getting smoke. I have almost new Hybrid Turbo.

It has been to couple of garages but no one can help.

Hi mate,a friend of mine had a similar problem a while ago but not as drastic,he was using 10/40 Magnatec oil and we changed it to Silkolene Pro 'S' and the problem was solved.Try taking the rockercover breather pipe off the plastic airfilter intake pipe and putting it in a clear plastic bottle,then block the hole that is left in the airfilter intake pipe and drive the car around for a while to see if you get oil into the bottle.

Have you checked that its not the gearbox breather blowing out oil because its been over filled, Also I agree that you should be using a good qualityengine oil.

Who did the rebuild ?.
