oil catch tank

got a prob guyz,got a forge oil catch tank,but havin a prob findin where one of the pipes go to,on the catch tank there a pipe whichs goes straight down dnt know where that goes?or do u just leave it open?or block it?can u guyz help?

Only three connect up. If you mean the one on the bottom pointing vertically down, then yes that one is unconnected
I think it's the botom connected one that goes back to the sump Rob
