OE Dials out the dash

I'm seeing an R tonight, dealer says the previous owner (Japan) took out the three centre console dials and put them on top of the dash, so that he could stick the Head Unit in their place.

Sound odd?

No really, thats where they are on normal Sunny's.

Guess they may have moved the dials to where the stereo used to go or done away with them for uprated units.

When i was looking for an R, i saw 2 that had the same 'conversion' so it's not an unknown mod,
1 looked pretty 8) actually, the centre 3 dials had beel carefully placed in the actual 'passenger side of the dash' above the glovebox flush to the trim

bit of a pain when u want to get a reading though, unless you have a co-pilot
