o/s drive shaft

Hi,
I've used the search function and not managed to find anything.

Having a little trouble getting the front o/s drive shaft in, circlip appears to be stopping it go any further but there is at least 10-15mm to go. Am I missing something obvious? Can anyone help??

i had the same problem with mine the clip was to wide i just got a blow torch and heated the ends of the clip till it was red then squeezed the ends together

do it with the clip on the shaft

give the shaft a good whack with a copper hammer!

Remember to put nut on the end of shaft and screw it on so it sit's flush with end of shaft so not to damage it.
