Allo everyone, wonder if you can shed light on a strange gremlin under the bonnet.
Had a standard dv on for about 9 months, was set to a bar via dawes device, held boost just fine right round the clock.
2 months ago changed to a HKS sqv , noticed that at peak revs 5500 - 6500 the boost faded to 0.9 bar. :?
Just put the standard dv back on and now it will only boost to 0.9 bar, spiking to just over a bar.
I think everything hose wise is on tight, especially the one from the plenum down to the rcirc. letting the car cool from the test run before I recheck. any ideas? :?:
Does the ecu have any learning to do? as it was overfuelling and not running so well at neutral revs with the hks bov, and it is very hot today.
thanks as always.
JB
