Not Holding boost

Can anybody shed any light on this problem ?

the car's ok with the Boost controller turned off, its fine when on and set to 0.75 but anything over 0.9 it cant hold if you ease the pedle then it's ok but not quite right but if you floor it it bounces round to 1.2ish and back again and then just bounces about cause it then over boosts !

Ive changed a hose with a small split and im gonna get under it later to see what i can find.

HKS EVC 4 i think ill have a butchers when im on me way home !

it's got a goose, FMIC, and most of all the bells and whistles...

Higher gears will see boost fropping off but shouldn't go up and down if revs are constant.Is dump valve leaking?

Maybe u need an uprated actuator?

Sounds like a boost hose leaking, last time I saw eyore is when you had just bought it glad your still about mate

ps mine did that when the plenum bolts were loose :shock:

Thanks guys... it might be the BOV... or the plenium as i've had to change the starter recentally..mmmm... i will get back to you on that !

How can tell if the dumpvalve is leaking?

I dunno but ive checked all accessiable hoses..... and yep 2 with splits and 1 thats trying to crack... now all changed with thicker break hoses ! and it dosent seem to be in trouble any more ! yea !
