Picked the car up today from the garage after its MOT. car will now not boost properly, but runs fine. Is it limp home mode.

Check all the pipes from the I/C and to the turbo, you will find the pipes under the intercooler too, check them for leaks.
Does it still rev out to the redline if you floor it?
Limp home mode won't rev over 2500 rpm.
My R recently lost all boost.... the clip had come of that holds the actuator rod to the wastegate. Other ppl have had a problem where the bolts holding the actuator on fall out so the actuator moves about instead of holding the wastegate shut.
It's a little suspect that it's like this after you pick it up from the MOT station..... I hope it's nothing more serious.

my two bolts fell out holding the actuator on
however if you floor it you get about 0.1 bar, and surprisingly i managed to beat an Audi A3 1.8 turbo and an R33 skyline Gtr v spec......although that's cos i was drifting through the centre of birmingham trying to beat him :twisted: :twisted:
