non-nissan injectors

hey guys
i would like to know if the top feed injectors from a mitsubishi evolution 8 will work on the GTIR.are they the same ohms,etc...

gtr injectors fit but people only like selling the 2nd hand ones in 6's
cossie are high impedance and greys are about the highest they use and they are only 540cc i think but if u take the resistor pack off the injectors they maybe high impedance then ?????
S13 injectors fit no problem as i had a set once but never used them

from what I've heard they use this in NZ and OZ:

RX7 series 5 (wich is the best to get, it's actually made by denso)
EVO 5,6 or 7

But they do require a different rubber spacing to fit perfectly.

Was going to buy a set of 550 injectors from a RX7 but the bloke selling them mentioned something about the resistors needing changing IIRC

yep but appartently u can remove resistor pack for high impedance injectors

can't totaly remember so if i'm wrong with no's don't crusify me, injectors are approx' 1 - 2 Ohm and dropping resistor (from +15 to injector supply power is 6 ohms (i think) so giving a total of APPROX' 8 ohm which is medium / middle spec

everything i've seen so far is high 16 ohm

v / r = a
14 / 16 =0.875 amps

14 / 2 = 7 amps and 14 / 2 + 8 = 1.75 amps

etc etc

you can fit rx7 550cc in jectors.
made by denso they can be found in low and hicgh impedance.
remember to get the low impedance.they are made by denso and will require small mods to be fitted.,but they fit.
even the connector is exactly the same.

what small mods would they be to make them fit as because everytime someone says small mods required they end up being a right pain in the @rse :?: :evil:
