non air con belt

heh guys and gals............does anyone know the exact length of the none air con drive belt as ive jusr ripped mine out and need to get one quick.......just did a quick search and saw a halfrauds one aleagedly a 6 rib 845e fits but its a bit lose can anyone point me in the right direction;-)

you only really need a 4 rib, the belt length seems to vary from one belt manufacturer to manufacturer.

I've had 850mm ones go straight on whereas another make didn't

where did you get it from stumo....only ask as i have a hand full of motor factors quite near to me and to be honest i rather not give halfrauds my buisness if i can help it...wink wink

go to the motorfactors and ask for a 4 rib belt the length you want....you're best measuring around the two pullies but from memory it's 850mm.


EDIT, Just checked an old post of mine, yes i used a 850mm belt.



Don't forget that when fitting it the adjuster wants to be all the way in/out (can't remember which) and it should then tighten up around the halfway point.
