noise when changing up a gear

hi when i change up a gear there is a noise that sounds like a quiet hissing similar to a dump valve i think it might be that the waste gaiter is stuck shut but im not sure didnt know if any one could help tell me if thats what it is or has any other suggestions cheers.

does your car come on and off boost ok?

yeah it comes off n on ok it dont seem to be as quick tho as what it was specially in 4th and 5th

sounds like a leak to me, check all the vacuum pipes are still on OK

thanks for your help it was one of my pipes it was on but not on all the way and was leaking that way cheers
