Nissan Dealer Can't Help!!!

Can anyone find out the part number for the reverse switch that fixes straight into the near side of the gearbox???

My Nissan dealer can't locate it :x :x

Are they looking for the right bit? According to the manual, there's a position switch, the big thing under the driveshaft by the looks of it, but no reverse switch as such.

that sounds like it. it has wires coming out of it and is held in place by one 10mm bolt (towards the front of the car).

sorry just read this.. the part number of the reverse switch is
32005-17e12 its £29.84 + vat on hand at the factory.. so any nissan dealer can get this next day for u.. hope this helps
