Nissan 14 pin fault finder

A paper clip doesn't read the voltages or allow you to check the timing.

If someone has a good source maybe I'll get one too...

I got the obd2 reader really cheap on ebay works atreat on my ford
its just getting the cable to turn it from 16 pin to 14 could not find anywhere in the uk.
There is one shop that is in the uk but they have the part shipped in via China

Don't tell me that I was told obd2 would as long as I had the clip on lead to take it from a 16 pin to a 14

i dont even think its obd1, isnt it nissans own port?

you'll need the software aswell, obd2 software wont communicate with your pulsar ecu.

Technically "Consult" is OBD I; the issue is that it's not a standard thing. Every manufacturer produced their own version; OBD II is a standardised format, so much easier to use because the codes should be the same no matter what car it is.

A more expensive option is Ecutalk. It shows all sensor read outs, fault codes and other stuff too.
