New Turbo

Hi room,

Think my turbo is killed just dosent seem to be boosting as crisply and has the occasional puff of smoke when changing up or throttle off after been on boost.

Got a quote from turbotechnics for a std replacement @ £450 + vat or 550 for a stage 1. Cant remember the exact part number but think it was gt28....... the stage 1 has a larger compressor housing but im told it fits directly onto all existing fittings / pipework.

Anyone any thoughts on this as im running tmic and 0.8 bar?

also wondered how much the std nissan dealer part would be??

I recommend turbo developements, they will rebuild your turbo into a hybrid for the same money as TD want for a standard rebuild

turbo dynamics are one of the more expensive companies out there, best to shop about.
