Hi All, (Mods please move to relevant area if this isn't it, not used a forum in years!)
As an introduction my name is Lewis, I'm picking up a 1995 GTiR Saturday from a friend from work, it's been off the road for about 7 years now he's owned it for nearly 10.
I first went out in it when I was a 19 years old and fell in love with it.. I'm now 26 and I've been pestering him to buy it for all of those years, he's finally caved. He took me for a drive in it on Saturday and it brought the memories back.
It's had some minor remedial work done recently but needs a full service/all fluids swapping. It was bit hesitant under full load at peak boost but when it cleared its lungs fk me it flew! It was fine beforehand so probably just wants a good run with new fuel, plugs & fresh filters. It's a very tidy car with only a really small blister of rust on the NSR Arch.
It's had some extensive work done to it also over the years and it's a bit of a weapon to drive, probably nothing compared to some of the 400-500bhp monsters on here but to me it's bang on... Needless to say I'm very excited and feel privileged to own such a car, even if it's going to be a Pain in the Ass/Wallet.
