well thats why i posted this as if your can has airbag as standard// and you fit a aftermarket steering wheel it will WILL FAIL.. i would say this also goes with the decat

Looks like abs is going to be checked.. Now you can't hide the abs sensors and fixings ..

I've read that the guidance on this is to give advisories for the first 6 months or so, that lets people get used to the new rules without punishing cars which were passing last year.

I believe you get an advisory until april after that they are fails. Good job the wife's mot is friday - gives me a year to sort the srs light out.:roll:

As an mot tester, how do you know if the abs is working?

Now you can't hide the abs sensors and fixings ..

just do what i did, remove the abs system and change the hubs to non abs hubs or weld up the abs sensor holes.

I would have thought that as long as your dials work, they pass. If you've borked them trying to install the white faces, then they fail.

No spraying your lights black, because if you do that you deserve someone driving a truck to go into the back of you.
