Need a rear seatbelt receiver.

Getting the old girl back on the road and that means MOT, and that means I've got to fix the seatbelt receiver which blew apart when I was trying to fit the kids car seat.

So I need a new working rear seatbelt receiver (i.e. the bit you plug the seatbelt into)
If anyones got one knocking around, let me know a price and postage.

A few years ago I was told you could just take out the entire seat belt for your MOT.

I believe if the belt is there it has to work. If you take out the entire mechanism and the rear bench then technically there are no rear seats or belts to fail so it passes.

I expect if you need it for the child seat then you can pick one up but otherwise this might buy you time.

Someone else can confirm if this is still true today.

The car will be coming to bits very very shortly. That can actually be taken out this week if you wish however. You're welcome to come over mon/tues and collect if you want. as that will only take a few mins.
