Most of my lights dont work?

Hey guys

first time ive taken the car out in the dark....!?

lots of lights dont work...

all interior lights inc dials / roof light / (might be why my stereo dont work) (well the petrol low/door open etc do work)
side lights dont work(normal and full beam ok)
all indicators fine
when front lights turned on, rear lights dont come on at all...?
other electrics fine (air-con/mirrors etc)

any clues?

check fuses first but it sounds like you have a faulty wires somwhere plus check for water anywhere aswell

sounds like you could have a bad earth problem, check engine to body earth and all other earthing connections? after as pete rightly said fuses have been checked

Take you stereo out and see if the lights work with the blown fuse(s) replaced.

If they do, rewire the stereo properly;-)
