Mixing Cam Durations

not too sure here but the vauxhall boys do it allot with the c20let turbo engine,by keeping the c20let exhaust cam and fitting a non turbo inlet cam seems to make 10bhp?. and increases the rev range also .

dont quote me here but im sure thats about correct ?

some one on the MIGWEB forum did a back to back cam test on the rollers

the exhaust cam doesnt affect idle as prominently as the intake cam which is why you usually see people running a larger duration cam on the exhaust. I am unaware of any uncrease or decrease inpower related to running both cams of the same duration but my locig tells me that it will raise it up somewhat. Not sure though ...its by best guess
