ive had the car out for about an hour tonight, solved my low power problem which was ignition timing was out.
problem i have now is that the car misses from about 3.5k up to about 6k when at full throttle.
i have just fitted a set of brand new blue print ignition leads,
the dizzy cap and rotor have less than 50 miles on them, not sure on the make though as they are the ones on ebay.
plugs have less than 30 mile on them, ngk bcr8 i think
as i have just finished the car i dont know how it drove before i got it (got car in bits)
no fault codes on datascan,
maf is reading 1.35v at 1200rpm
afr's seem fine, 14.7ish at idle, richening to approx 11 when at high revs and full throttle
idle likes to stay at about 1400rpm, not sure if this could be linked?
car is running 1.2 bar and has a walbro 255 fitted
i didnt re-gap the plugs when fitting them so need to check that 1st.
anyone else had this problem? what was the fix?
