Mismatch between dash and PFC boost reading.

I've installed my PFC and boostcontroller tonight, and there's one thing that puzzles me;
When I bought the car, it had a turbosmart bleedvalve installed, and it was running at 0.9 bar. At least that's what the gauge in the dash told me.

However, after I've installed the PFC, the gauge _still_reads 0.9, but when I checked the max levels on the Commander after I had my testrun, it said 0.69, which translates to 0.6767 bar.

Have I been running 0.7 bar previously, is the OE gauge (suddenly) unreliable, or is there something else I'm missing here?

take another look at the dash gauge. I'm sure most of the import gauges are in mmHg not BAR.

also sure that 0.9 bar equivalent is off the scale of the standard gauge.

also the standard gauge is notoriously crap.

My gauge goes to 0.9, but now I'm not sure if it's in bar, mmHg, lbs, feet or metres since you've mentioned it. :)

I'll have a closer look tomorrow, but this makes the bleedvalve that was fitted seem slightly wasted.

Thanks.

The gauge says mmBar x100, so I really don't know anymore. Should probably try to stick a better gauge in there somewhere then.
