micra oil filter

Is it true a nissan micra oil filter is the same as the pulsar? If so, what year/engine size will i ask for? Is it the same for the battery btw? Has anyone made a larger battery tray so that you can fit a normal battery to the car that doesnt go flat if you leave the interior light on for 2 mins??

Yes it's true

I believe you can fit the uk battery tray and then the battery, but you'll need to get larger terminals as well.

Err, Pass on that one, but that's the Nissan part number above. I'd stick with the origional nissan part.

Me and my dad made one to fit a bigger battery in the boot.It's good for cold starts as it never goes flat(originally for a diesel 4x4)but is too heavy(about 15kg) so I'm going for a smaller,lighter one to save weight.

This is the years of micra that use the same oil filter as our cars according to the parts book i saw in the shop.

1.3i 16v 1992-2000
1.4i 16v 2000 onwards
1.0i 16v 2000 onwards
