Mechnical Gauge Fitment

Hi All,

I've recently picked up a couple universal mechanical temp gauges, oil and water (mechanical as in, gets info from engine via sender rather than the ECU)
BUT I'm not sure where the best place is to fit the senders on the engine :?:

Anyone had any experience of this :?:

Wot make r the gauges :?: I would think u could use the existing oil temp pick up by the oil filter housing :?

Nothing special make wise...

A mate suggested this, but my thinking was to concur this sensor and what the ECU thinks otherwise I may aswell stick with the std gauges :?

Someone must've fitted gauges in this way :?:
