Not really because no one has ever pushed the GTiR head to its max power... Those who will ever try will always modify the head...

It would seem silly to try something like that without modifying the head...

only asking, on closer inspection of my engine
the poilshed and ported head is actually standard
the studded block has standard head bolts, same as the mains
and there is a piece of shim in my head, dont know where that
came from

well i contacted the tuner who imported the engine
and they have told me to 'chill out' (after i sent them
an abusive e mail )and they will try and sort something out, as these things happen all the time :shock:

So in my eyes a japanese bloke and his tool kit should
be on there way

tbh it sounds like they sent you the wrong engine :shock: maybe there' s some really fooking lucky git unknowingly driving around with a top notch engine :shock: :lol:

Checmical cleaning can do that mate... Worked for me...

keep us posted on whats happening with your engine mate... Would like to know how Abbey are going to deal with it...
