manifold sheild can you bin

Have searched the site but no one has really given the definite answer too, is it ok to remove the heat sheild around the manifold.(as im sure it is this that is rattling as a few bolts have cracked of)
My car is pretty much standard, apart from a fmic

If you take a look at the gallery, I think there are more cars that run without the shield than ones that have it mounted still.

I for one run without it, as I had the same problem as you.

If you don't want it ,i will take it off your hands /and yes it is ok to remove it ,personally i would leave it on

All mine have been binned the first time the stock turbo come off.
