MAF wiring

Ok I'm going to run a temp cable to my ECU to check my MAF, I have a copy of the ecu pin diagram and it shows pin number 16 is the maf signal and pin number 17 is the maf ground, now does anyone have any idea where wire number 3 from the maf goes? :noidea:

pins 38 and 47 (feeds the maf, the cas and the eccs relay)

you could just run the signal from the ecu and use any power and ground in the engine bay...

according to my pin diagram, 47 comes from the engine control module - I take it that is from the green relay just near the ecu?

number 38 isnt listed on my diagram

I have metered out the wires to the ecu and there is no breaks between the maf plug to the ecu.

well TBH I am showing a knock senser fault as well so my MAF voltage wont be correct - or will it?

I'm going to run some new earth cable to the engine and bulkhead etc tonight and have a go at getting the knock senser out
