Lowering Springs

Thinking of lowering my GTIR but don't know which springs to put on and how much to lower it by. Can anyone recommend any springs and also how low to take it. I'm thinking of eventually putting 17" wheels on as its on standard wheels at the moment but just unsure of how low to go and also what the best springs are and how much they will be.

OK mate how much are they roughly?. Do you have any pics of your car with them on as well?

Theres pics in the members R section under Grant's Gti-r. Its my old grey one! That was sitting on 17's with those coilovers. Think they were about £1000 but that was a good few years ago!! Probably get them for around £700 now.

£500 is cheap..

Would'nt just put springs on standard shocks did on my last one and will never do it again!!!
