lost part?

i think i have lost the oil plate thingy that goes between the sump case and crank case? i hope you all will know the one i mean, as im not the best at explaining myself lol.

Its a thin metal plate with a couple groves in it and i think it might stop too much oil splashing up the bores from the sump?

Anyway, can anyone tell me if there is suposed to be 1 or 2? I only have 1 and it only covers 1 side of the engine so i think i have lost one?

Could i do with out the plates?

Any help would be good but **** takes would not lol

Id say its a baffle plate to keep the oil where it should be when going round corners, recommended id say bud !

yeah its simular style but it goes between the sump casing and the big ends. i have one plate that is about 6" long and 2" wide but i fear there is another plate i have lost as there is bolt holes etc but i just cant remember lol. i will post a link in a bit when photo bucket has stopped pissing around.
