I was reading and article somewhere online (just remembered it was the ARP site) a few weeks ago that was suggesting that 99% of apparent rod failures were due to poorly torqued down rod bolts, because there poorly torqued down over a period of time the bolt work themselves loose and that when the damage occurs.
So I was wondering if it was worth putting loctite thread adhesive on the nuts when torqueing down.
