Is there a specific manufacture of stronger bearing that can be used in the gearbox. The bearings in the standard box seem to be like chocolate and have been the cause of two gearbox failures I have had.

My box will be rebuilt soon and I wondered whether there was anything specific I could use ?

yes there are uprated bearings for the gearbox as i have them in mine along with a shot peened gearset

when i bought my r with a dodgy gearbox the guy who built my box said that it had the wrong bearings fitted, he said that was the cause of it dropping to bits from the previous owner's rebuild, might be worth checking, what power output are you running??
