i have just brought a 1990 pulsar and the gearbox is leaking from the rear where the propshaft goes in anyone had this problem and is it easy to fix
Yeah and remember to mark the nutz position first so when you do it back up it is back where it was cos you may fudge up the pre-load on the pinnion flange position, bit like my MK1 Escort rear diff, same principle. :lol:ex-gtir said:pretty sure from memory it a dynamic seal
just remove the prop from flange and use a nut gun on the large nut in flange and hey presto
