ive noticed this afternoon that i had a small puddle of fluid by the offside front wheel which wasnt there a day or two ago, initially i thought that the brakes were playing up but when i removed the wheel i could see that the whole leg of the shock was wet with fluid and appeared to be weeping from the strut. im a bit annoyed at this as the shocks are only 6months old and done about 2k miles and to make things worse the nearside one looks like its starting to weep as well.
ive emailed pics to the company i got them from but will they be able to replace them under warranty (i would have thought they would, pending stock) and would it be advisable to take the car off the road until replacement parts arrive or given how stiff the coilovers are could you still drive it.
to be honest id rather leave it on the drive until the new ones arrive but im worried that could take weeks to replace!!
