Lambo+r=problem

Last nite I had a race with a local guy in his new black lambo....long story short my rear breaks have died for some reason ?! but I'm not bothered about them.
After the race I could only select 1st,2nd+5th? After some steady driving I could select all gears but.. 4th down to 3rd??????
Any ideas I can go 2nd to 3rd but not 4th to 3rd?

set of at 30ish pulled on him a small bit through 2nd gained quite abit in 3rd and were about the same in 4th only got to about 120mph....obviously this was a private road
it wasn't a straight line either. must say they handle well
