Anyone know where to get one of these thats cheaper than nissan? Most places dont list one for our car, or if they do, it's not the right type

Thats a different part number to what should be fitted. The doc on here, and from what ive read elsewhere says the pulsar sensor is not used by any other models. Most of these sensors work from 0 to 1v, but the manual says ours goes to 1.5v so unsure whether it would work

My apologies, Saw other listings where it listed the gtir such as http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=291518481751&alt=web , this listing must be wrong.

Our part number is 22690-54C00? Good to know as I might have bought the wrong one
one sometime! Just saw your other thread about it.

Try sending erics performance parts a message and see if they can get one anyway?

Or have you tried Mike at MJP eastern auto?

That would sting a bit but it's not as outrageous as it could be.

Having said that I did just replace the post cat sensor in my accord for £19.

Yeh a lot of the eBay items say they are compatible but I dont think they are. Ive just emailed Mike. Does he deal with genuine nissan parts as its not far off nissans price?

I can't remember which is which, but there's two different types of sensor; zirconia and titania. - I think the zirconia type is more common; it works by giving a voltage between 0 and 1V to give the rich/lean reading for the ECU. Titania requires a voltage input and measures the change in resistance across the probe with the air/fuel mix.

I think the GTiR used titania which is why it's so expensive and not compatible with anything else.
