Lambda sensor

Been doing searches through past posts on replacing the Lambda. I've already been down the motor spares store and the "universal" 3 wire sensor is definately a different size and possibly a different voltage. Is the Nissan replacement the only option?

A lot of people reckon the standard Nissan one is different from most other ones, it goes up to a weird voltage or something.

When I replaced mine I got one from Nissan, but I think they gave me the wrong one because its maximum voltage is only 1.0 Volt ( I think someone said the Pulsar one goe up to 1.45 - 1.40 Volts ? ) Not had any problems with it anyway, and checked against my wideband lambda it still gives spot on 14.7:1 ratio on closed loop.
