Just got new wishbones is it worth seam welding them as per the group N manual?

It will give you more torsional strenth in the arm which helps with more feel and consistency with the suspension movement.

You won't need to do a continuous run of weld, just stitching with be enough, does make a difference though, particularly if you poly bush the wishbones as well

Sounds daft, but worth doing to old ones (while they are still on the car)?

Every little helps andy. If your doing them on the car then just make sure you dont use alot of heat or youll start burning bushes etc.

And as steve said 1 inch long welds will be enough.
