Just wondering only

Jun only come out with 87mm bore for SR series

can i buy jun piston
JUST ONE UNIT only instead of a Set 4 ?
possible ?

anyone know about this ?
since i see most of them is sell as a set. not a pieces

Fitting one JUN piston in an engine with 3 standard pistons will really upset the balance and lead to excessive vibration that will quickly damage the bearings, etc.

he's probably got a set of Jun pistons fitted and has detted one of them etc so needs to replace it :?: if so you'd be best of contacting Jun direct about it and all pistons would need to be balanced again to make them a matched set.

you're going from the UK to Japan to get pistons which come from the UK in the first place ??? :p

This is correct...

JUN pistons are made by or are Cosworth Pistons...

JUN pistons have Cosworth stamped underneath them...

Thay are made for JUN by cosworth to JUN's own spec. But you can only by them from JUN, as Cosworth will not supply them direct to JUN UK Dearler they have to go to Japan first.
This is the same for all parts that one company makes for another.

Jun is proudly mention it at their website that they piston is make at cosworth

Same like HKS turbo everyone know it from garret
but HKS Spec

no there not,
thats is HKS who use farndon for there stocker kits,cranks and rod.
Jun make there own cranks and rods and Cosworth make the pistons.

Got a reply from JUN one the Piston. :D

Good news :D You can get just one.
Bad news :( They cost £269.00 Including Vat (They also includes piston rings) You will have to wait about 3-4 weeks for it.

Then it will cost about £10 in postage from use to you.

Hope this helps.
