Yes, they don't use salt on there roads in winter, and having seen cars that have been in the uk but off road for ten years after import they are in very good condition.

I found a very well thought of importer and we had a discussion about bringing a grade 4 import. He reckoned it would be a about 4 grand.
i was watching a show the other day on discovery about cars. they went to a place and they had racks of body shells on the shelf. If only..
 
The pound has begun to strengthen against the yen making importing feasible again. Last time I looked it was pack up to 175 Yen to the pound from 116, 18 months ago.

I bought a pulsar that was imported and spent a few year in Portsmouth and it was like new underneath, I couldn't believe the condition.

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find a rust free shell, I may be looking at a fresh import myself. Just need to find an importer!

they were very good when I spoke to them. I going to strip mine down and if its too bad I may import another

mine was from japan, via newera imports, was like new , and still is!

actually paint seems slightly crackled on top, probably due to sitting in hot sun
