Yes, and put more fuel in :)

I had to run over 1/2 a tank of fuel to stop it mine.

You can fit a swirl pot too, that will fix it!

I can run mine to the "E" of empty. - You need to put the right pick-up on the pump so it actually reaches the bottom of the tank.

As said above, you now have 3 options:-

1. Fit a swirl pot
2. Fit the correct pump pick up
3. Keep over half a tank

Peraonally I am a slave to option 3, until I can get round to one of the other options.

You'll get "major loss of power and spluttering" on fast left cornering if your pump has been upgraded (walbro etc.) and the fitters used the short filter sock that comes with most of the Walbro kits, when what they should have done was to fit the sock from the OEM pump they removed to the new pump.

I wouldn't bother, don't waist your money just get your existing pump fitted properly, if you can do it yourself it'll only cost you a few quid for an OEM sock/filter and a couple of hours tops to fit it.
