Is there any point what so ever in fitting an after market top mounted intercooler as I have seen an r with an arc top mounted inercooler fitted however, if i ended up with this motor would i still need to replace this for an fmic to get any where near 300bhp without cooking internals:? ?

the colder the air passing through the cooler the better, i noticed the difference on mine, id say you be fine on 300bhp, arc make some nice stuff

well thats what i thought i was just confused as to why if they bothered to change it they didnt just bite the bullit and opt for FMIC suppose it will enable me to be economical with the truth to an insurer lol
