I saw them a few weeks ago advertising it on ebay, is a good idea, after all subaru and mitsi have been doing it for years havnt they. Im interested in getting one but was in the process of making my own...be good if they can be programmed to cut in a certain boost/temperature levels. 8)

a hobbs switch can be bought cheaply off ebay, this activates the pump whilst on boost, i think the levels it operates at are adjustable, jeff

looks a good piece of kit and quite cheap too.They also sell a boost pressure switch to so it will come in at desired boost level 8) .

ive got a SPA boost gauge and that has outputs to bring things on at certain boost levels etc water injection IC, spray etc also upto a certain rpm so it can control nitrous upto 3k for anti lag style

H there,

I am in the process of fitting a nitrous intercooler spray on my car. It has a forge FMIC and think it will reduce temp levels and therfore power will increase. I also have a performance meter and will take readings before and after to see if there really is any performance increase.

Although i would advise against a carbon dioxide intercooler spray as although cold, some might get into the air intake and actually decrease horsepower. This is due to co2 depriving the normal air of its oxygen levels, (thats why its is used for fires) and as a result the engine cannot receive the air it requires.

So are you going to spray the nitrous in the same way the co2 is sprayed? that could be interesting when the nitrous hits a red hot turbo/exhaust :shock:

Just so you know most tracks and drag strips won't let you use an IC spray

Because after you've soaked the intercooler with water, it then drips all over the track making it slippery. If you get caught repeatidly using an IC spray at Pod, they will kick you off the strip.
