Intercooler pipe.

Is there any way of stopping my pipe that enters the intercooler above the engine getting so hot? :shock:

eeerrrrm, either..

a) Disconnect the turbo :shock: :?
b) Wrap it in that Heat Lag bandage stuff
c) Buy a Front mount IC then (almost) all heat soak problems solved.

Bear in mind it's carrying hot air already so it's gonna be hot any way, but you could try exhaust wrap or rigging up a cold air duct on to it.

dont worry about it, feel the intercooler where it enters the inlet, its allways quite cold, it does quite a good job for road use
