Intercooler pipe run

This is far from ideal but running out of options, do use guys think 180 bend will be to extreme

Rotate the compressor housing on the turbo and run the inter cooler pipes below the turbo.

I rotated it 90 degrees and also 180 degrees, still no much room due to the 3" exhaust elbow.

Just need to have an other wee think in the morning.

Mines rotated 180o ish and its tight but do-able. Still got those things for you too I have not forgot.

how much bonnet to manifold clearance do you have.....enough to put the boost pipe above the manifold?

Aye that's the one at the back of the drive collecting dust, no clearance there the manifold is to big.

Ill rotate the turbo again and sort something out.

Yes its ro sunnys manifold, the turbo s a md214 good for 420bhp

I think the angle coming off the turbo is worse than the 180 degree bend. I have mine facing down out the bottom, looping around the dump pipe.

I had to make that pipe at a funny angle as it had to bend straight away for me to get bolts into the turbo.

I'm going to try a different route next time I'm at it.

Cut that rock mount off and move it, it will belt the compressor housing and scrap your turbo.

I was actually just discussing that with a mate, no room for movement coming on and off throttle.

Exactly, I had to re make that mount completely with the turbo I use now.

Where did you move yours to

If stood looking at the front of the car I moved it to the right, then made a new bracket that bolted to the gearbox bell housing bolts, gives you a load more room.
