Intellistart cranking duration question.

I have a Clifford 600 alarm with an intellistart module. Everything functions as it should with the alarm but it will not start the car. Basically I need to adjust the cranking duration ( just won’t catch in time ) I have the code for the alarm but no manual I have looked online and spoke to a few professional guys you have tried to sell me there services and not told me how I can do it myself. So I wondered if I could adjust the cranking duration with out going to a Clifford dealer and them hooking it up to the wizard thingy.

Or does someone know of a link?

Thanks in advance.

All the Clifford manuals are available here:
http://www.clifford.com/Support/Guides.aspx

Intellistart

IntelliStart 4

Concept 600

But none of them refer to the cranking time setting. You may find you need the Clifford Wizard software and data cable to connect up to a laptop to change the setting.

No worries

I have the same set up on mine (Concept 600 + intellistart) - I'm sure I've seen the cranking time setting in one of the manuals I downloaded over the years. I'll have to dig out the ones I printed out and see if it's in there.

That said, occasionally on really cold days mine doesn't catch on the first cranking, but then a few seconds later it cranks again.... I think... it's been ages since it happened. Maybe I'm confused and I had to press the button on the remote again lol

I'll post back if I find it in a manual somewhere (everything's in boxes at the moment since moving lol).

Oh and if you ever figure out how to use the turbo-timer (timed engine shutdown after run while the alarm is active) at the same time as leaving it ready to start on intellistart let me know :D

I don't think it's possible.... but I may have missed something :D
