Installing Motec

hi everyone,
i'm new to these forums as i'm from australia and have a problem that you guys can probably help me out with.
i've just purchased an m4 pro for my beast and was wondering about any problems that i might encounter when getting this fitted?
would it be better to piggyback the motec on my standard ecu to control ignition and timing or can i use it as a stand alone ecu?
any help or info would be great.

cheers,
steven

Lucky sod.
Well i guess if u one to retain the stock functions of the standard ecu such as that aircon cut off switch, cold start abd blah blah blah u can use the motec as a piggy back.
But i'm sure since u're from Oz u can get pretty good tuners down there who can get it fixed as a full standalone.
heck why buy a Motec if u're not going to use it as a full standalone hehe.
So lucky.... Antilag, Traction control, lauch control.
Just my 2 cents.
