hi , hope all is well.

i just wondered if anyone could help me i have been installing the safc on my car along with avc-r

firsty i connected the safc and then started the car to make sure it worked i however forgot to disconnect negative terminal before installing however it still started then i fitted the avc-r but into to the harness and not the engine side of things, and it started fine

then i soldered everything then it wouldn't start and the controllers didn't come on also

i changed the ecu as i think i damaged my original one, and the controllers came on but the car doesn't start, i have spark from coil but just doesn't start

i know i probably damaged my standard ecu by not disconnecting the terminal but i have checked all other fuses and still it wont start, also i tried disconnecting the red wires from the controllers to see if it would start with out but it still doesn't,

any idea what i f***** up.

thanks for your time and help.

call the AA / RAC if your a member, they sorted out my ecu problem...
But it depends on who you get.
I got some young Asain lad who loved my car spent an hour with me and chatted away until he sorted out the ecu fault.
Top man...

May sound daft, but is the ecu getting power (should be a small red led on the side lit up if it is).. i had a similar problem with a broken down wire from the ignition to the ecu.
